Inside Sales & Sales Coordination
Independently manage inside sales and back-office operations for the Sugar Division.
Prepare and review techno-commercial offers, quotations, and order confirmations.
Act as a single point of contact for customers for order-related and technical queries.
Support field sales engineers in closing orders and post-order coordination.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare, analyze, and present
daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales MIS reports
.
Monitor order pipeline, execution status, billing, and collections.
Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems and ensure data integrity.
Sales Forecasting & Planning
Develop and maintain
monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
.
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to support management planning.
Assist in budgeting and sales planning for the Sugar Division.
Targeting & Performance Monitoring
Track sales targets at individual, regional, and division levels.
Prepare
target vs. achievement
dashboards and performance reviews.
Support management in setting realistic targets and corrective action plans.
Technical & Engineering Support
Provide technical support related to sugar plant machinery, spares, and process equipment.
Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and BOMs.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams for technical clarifications and execution.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with purchase, production, planning, dispatch, and finance teams for smooth order execution.
Ensure adherence to internal processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Support audits, management reviews, and senior leadership reporting.
Educational Qualification:
BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory)
Additional qualification in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience
in inside sales, back office, or sales coordination.
Mandatory experience in
Sugar industry / process plants / heavy engineering / industrial machinery manufacturing
.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong mechanical and technical knowledge related to sugar plant equipment.
Expertise in
sales reporting, forecasting, and target management
.
Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, dashboards, MIS).
Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM systems.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
