About the Role:
Are you passionate about sports and love helping others find the right gear? We're looking for a
sport-enthusiast Inside Sales Specialist
who doesn't just sell products--but connects customers to the right sport, brand, or solution. You'll play the role of a
category champion
, owning your sport(s), driving sales, building community connections, and delivering an unmatched customer experience in-store and online.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the face of your sport(s):
Own and drive visibility, sales, and product knowledge for key sports categories (e.g., Running, Football, Yoga, etc.)
Customer engagement:
Interact with walk-in and online customers to understand needs and offer tailored solutions across our multi-brand portfolio.
Lead conversion:
Manage incoming leads, ensure timely follow-ups, and drive conversions.
Product expertise:
Stay updated with product specs, features, and tech to guide customers with confidence and accuracy.
Merchandising:
Coordinate with the VM team to ensure attractive and sport-specific product displays.
Community building:
Identify local sports communities, schools, clubs, or trainers to build engagement and footfall.
Stock & operations:
Keep a check on your category's stock levels, movement, and suggest reorders or new assortments.
Sales tracking:
Monitor category sales, customer feedback, and contribute towards meeting monthly store targets.
Brand ambassador:
Uphold the brand's identity, values, and customer-first culture.

Requirements:
0-3 years of experience in retail/inside sales/customer-facing roles (sports or lifestyle industry preferred).
Good communication in English and local language.
Graduate in any field; degree/diploma in sports management is a plus.
Willingness to work weekends and retail peak hours.
