About the role
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and qualifying leads from various sources by engaging with customers via phone and email. This position involves managing the complete sales cycle -- from lead qualification to conversion and post-sales support. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in direct sales within a call center environment and must be fluent in French. This role is based in Bangalore, India.
Roles and Responsibility
Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and interest in Enphase's products and services.
Qualify leads based on established criteria and educate potential customers on Enphase products and the solar buying process.
Make outbound calls to both existing and prospective homeowner customers in French-speaking regions.
Schedule appointments with qualified leads and coordinate with installers to facilitate the purchase and installation process.
Deliver persuasive and compelling value propositions to prospects while addressing objections effectively.
Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system (Salesforce, etc.) to ensure accurate lead tracking and follow-ups.
Conduct timely follow-ups with leads to nurture relationships and progress them through the sales funnel.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with internal teams to align on goals, share insights, and optimize lead conversion strategies.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, lead qualification, or appointment setting.
C1 level French language certification is mandatory.
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools for lead and pipeline management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
Strong customer service skills and ability to handle a high volume of outbound calls daily.
Basic understanding of electrical concepts including AC/DC circuits is preferred.
Prior experience in solar/PV environments will be an added advantage.
