Handle inbound inquiries and conduct outbound calls to generate new sales opportunities within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
Understand customer requirements and provide accurate technical information and product recommendations.
Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and follow-up communications.
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and the external sales team to support project requirements and complex solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
Coordinate with the operations or engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field preferred).
1-3 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or customer support within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain engineering products or solutions.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
