Role Overview
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) - Endpoint Security will focus on lead generation and qualification for endpoint security solutions.
Your primary responsibility is to call prospects, validate data, understand security needs, qualify leads using BANT, and schedule meetings/demos for the sales and presales teams.
This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in Cybersecurity Sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Make outbound calls to IT Heads, CIOs, CISOs, Security Managers, and Admin teams
Generate new leads for Endpoint Security solutions (EPP/EDR/XDR)
Follow up on inbound leads from campaigns, events, and referrals
2. Data Validation & Research
Verify company details, contact information, and decision-makers
Update CRM with accurate account and contact data
Research company size, industry, and existing security environment
3. Lead Qualification (BANT Framework)
Budget: Identify if budget is available or planned
Authority: Identify decision-makers or influencers
Need: Understand pain points (malware, ransomware, endpoint visibility, compliance)
Timeline: Determine buying timeframe
4. Meeting Scheduling & Handover
Schedule qualified meetings/demos for Sales Managers
Share detailed call notes and requirement summaries
Ensure smooth handover to presales/sales teams
5. CRM & Reporting
Log all calls, follow-ups, and outcomes in CRM (Zoho)
Maintain pipeline stage accuracy
Submit daily and weekly activity reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication skills (English & Hindi)
Confidence in outbound calling and objection handling
Interest in IT Security / Cybersecurity sales
Basic understanding of Endpoint Security is a plus (training provided)
Comfortable working with CRM tools
Disciplined follow-up and target-oriented mindset
