Overview:
Location: Chennai
Driven by Kemin's spirit of "Compelled by Curiosity," the Inside sales Executive" supports channel partnerships and commodity sales, contributing to market expansion and customer success. This entry-level role focuses on building relationships, executing sales strategies, supporting channel partners, and learning industry dynamics through structured performance tracking, training, and engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential new customers through research, networking, and databases; document and maintain an updated customer database to support sales and marketing activities.
Make cold and warm calls to prospective and existing customers to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and route them to the sales team or distributors.
Actively search for new and "hungry" distributors, build strong relationships, and support their onboarding process.
Assist the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with day-to-day sales activities, reporting, coordination, and follow-ups across the South Asia region.
Support in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and product information for customers and distributors.
Monitor market developments and identify new business opportunities, upcoming trends, and competitor activities.
Gather competitor intelligence, including product launches, pricing strategies, and distributor networks, and share insights with the sales team.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless coordination between customers, distributors, and internal departments.
Provide timely updates, reports, and MIS data to management for better sales planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Any Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience in sales or Business Development.
MBA degree will be an added advantage.
