Role Overview
The Inside Sales Executive plays a critical support and revenue-enablement role by bridging digital and telephonic engagement with on-ground field sales efforts. The role focuses on lead qualification, customer follow-ups, order conversion, and relationship continuity, ensuring consistent pipeline movement and improved field productivity while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement & Lead Management
Generate, qualify, and nurture leads through calls, emails, and digital channels in line with defined targeting strategies.
Support product promotion initiatives by reinforcing key messages with doctors, clinics, and distributors.
Ensure timely follow-ups on inquiries, quotations, and pending orders to improve conversion rates.
Coordinate with field sales teams for appointment scheduling, customer handovers, and account follow-ups.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
Build and maintain professional, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals through consistent engagement.
Manage inbound and outbound interactions with a focus on responsiveness, clarity, and value-based communication.
Address customer queries related to product details, pricing, availability, and order status.
Order Coordination, Reporting & Data Accuracy
Coordinate with distributors and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely fulfillment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, interaction, and sales data in CRM systems.
Prepare and share daily and weekly performance reports to support visibility and decision-making.
Compliance, Collaboration & Governance
Ensure ethical promotion practices and adherence to applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams for campaign execution, product launches, and digital initiatives.
Follow defined processes and documentation standards to maintain audit readiness.
Key Skills & Competencies
Clear, confident communication and persuasive engagement skills
Experience in inside sales or tele calling, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain
Basic understanding of pharmaceutical products and therapy segments
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications
