Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at the Damro Kakinada showroom. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them find the perfect furniture solutions for their homes. You will be responsible for driving sales, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a world-class shopping experience that reflects the Damro brand promise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Sales:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in their furniture selection process.
Understand customer needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable products.
Effectively demonstrate product features, benefits, and quality to persuade customers.
Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
Handle customer queries and objections professionally to close sales.
2. Product Knowledge & Showroom Maintenance:
Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of all Damro products, including materials, dimensions, and pricing.
Ensure the showroom floor is tidy, well-organized, and all products are correctly tagged and displayed.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to check product availability for customers.
3. Sales Process & Administration:
Accurately process sales orders, generate invoices, and handle payments.
Explain financing options, warranties, and after-sales services to customers.
Follow up with potential customers via phone or email to nurture leads and confirm sales.
Maintain customer records in the system for future reference and service.
4. Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with team members and the Store Manager to achieve overall store objectives.
Participate in daily briefings and sales meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma (Intermediate). A degree or diploma in any field is preferred.
Experience:
0-2 years of experience in retail sales. Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to build a career in sales are welcome.
Languages:
Fluent in Telugu and Hindi.
Proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A customer-centric attitude with a friendly and helpful personality.
Basic computer skills for processing sales orders.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a retail environment.
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
