Job Summary:
As an Inside Sales Executive at MakeRoot, you will be a key contributor to our sales team, driving growth through virtual client engagement and lead management. You'll be responsible for nurturing inbound and outbound leads, conducting online demos, and converting potential prospects into loyal customers. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sales, communication, and making a positive impact in the education space -- all from within our office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management & Prospecting
Handle inbound leads and follow up via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and CRM tools.
Actively prospect potential schools and educational institutions using online channels.
Qualify leads based on defined criteria and convert them into opportunities.
Client Communication
Conduct product presentations and virtual demos to showcase MakeRoot's platform features and benefits.
Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions aligned with their academic and administrative goals.
Respond promptly to client inquiries, objections, and follow-ups.
Sales Closure & Onboarding
Prepare and share proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with marketing to align campaigns and feedback from the field.
Maintain accurate records of conversations and sales progress in CRM systems.
Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline, closures, and client feedback.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
1+ years of experience in inside sales, telesales, or customer engagement (EdTech preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and regional language.
Confident in presenting software products through online platforms (Zoom/Meet).
Goal-driven, persuasive, and organized with a passion for client interaction.
