Job Purpose

To support the sales team by handling RFQs, preparing accurate technical-commercial quotations, coordinating with internal departments, and following up with customers to convert enquiries into orders for tube fittings, valves, and manifolds.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Support

Receive and review customer RFQs for tube fittings, valves, manifolds, DBB valves, needle valves, ball valves, etc. Understand customer technical requirements, specifications, drawings, and standards. Communicate with customers for technical and commercial clarifications. Follow up on submitted quotations and support order closure.
Quotation & Documentation

Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations in coordination with sales and engineering teams. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards (ASTM, ASME, SAES, etc.). Prepare and submit supporting documents such as datasheets, compliance statements, deviations, and delivery schedules. Maintain quotation history, pricing structure, and RFQ logs.
Coordination & Order Support

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and QA/QC teams for costing and feasibility. Support order processing, order acknowledgement, and documentation handover. Assist in resolving customer queries related to pricing, delivery, and technical scope.
Reporting & System Management

Maintain CRM / ERP data for enquiries, quotations, and orders. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Update price lists and discount structures as per management guidelines.
Products Handled

Instrumentation tube fittings (single & double ferrule) Needle valves, ball valves, check valves Manifolds (2-way, 3-way, 5-way) DBB / Instrument isolation valves High-pressure fittings and valves
Qualifications

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field 1-5 years of experience in inside sales or estimation (instrumentation products preferred)
Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of tube fittings, valves, and manifolds Ability to read datasheets, drawings, and specifications Good communication and customer handling skills Costing and quotation preparation skills Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/CRM systems Attention to detail and time management
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Quotation turnaround time Quotation-to-order conversion ratio Accuracy of quotations (technical & commercial) Customer response and follow-up effectiveness
Preferred Industry Background

Instrumentation & control Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / EPC Valve & fittings manufacturing or trading companies

Pay: ₹13,644.85 - ₹20,000.00 per month
