Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Inside Sales Engineer to support our growing Sales and Technical team.



This role plays a key part in driving commercial efficiency, supporting the field sales force, and ensuring superior technical and customer service support.



The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.




Key Responsibilities




Sales Support




Assist the Outside Sales Team in executing business plans and achieving sales targets. Handle internal and external technical support requests related to product selection, application, and specifications.

Technical Assistance




Provide technical inputs for quotation preparation, basic takeoffs, and specification reviews. Prepare zone maps, layouts, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required.

Commercial Process Management




Manage end-to-end commercial operations, including quotation, order processing, shipment follow-up, and issue resolution. Coordinate between sales, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth order execution.

Customer Interaction




Engage extensively with customers, partners, and internal teams via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Participate in customer visits, presentations, and trade show activities when required.

Product Knowledge & Application




Maintain a deep understanding of company products and their applications. Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate product or system recommendations.

Customer Relationship Management




Ensure prompt and professional resolution of customer queries and complaints. Build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned customers and partners.

Project Communication & Reporting




Provide regular updates on ongoing projects and potential business opportunities. Communicate customer feedback and new market requirements to management for future planning.

Technical Skills:




Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical blueprints. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical control systems.



Soft Skills:




Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and customer-handling ability.



Preferred Qualifications





Prior experience in Customer Service or Sales Support roles.



Familiarity with CRM / ERP tools for order management and tracking.



Proven Project Management skills and attention to detail.
