The Inside Sales Assistant serves as a primary support resource for customers, OEM partners, and the on-field sales team. This role involves close collaboration with both customers and internal sales personnel, functioning as a backend support engineer to manage all tender-related activities.
The candidate will own and manage the complete tender process, including submissions on GeM, SRM, and other eProcurement portals, ensuring that all trackers are consistently updated with relevant tender details and progress.
They should possess the ability to understand basic technical requirements, interpret configuration recommendations provided by Field or Application Engineers, and refer to commercial price lists from the Company or OEMs. They must prepare and submit accurate documentation (online/offline) as per tender terms ensuring both technical accuracy and commercial compliance.
Qualification Required -
Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science, or
B.E. in EEE, ECE, IT, or IS, or
B.A. / B.Com. from a reputed university with relevant experience (preferred)
Experience
3 - 5 years of experience in backend tendering or quotation roles related to electronic engineering products
Essential Skills and Competencies -
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Basic understanding of electronic components and terminology
Familiarity with terms and conditions of quotations and purchase orders
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Experience in customer service or sales support functions
Working knowledge of CRM or database tools
Salary Range - 4L to 6L pa depending on the qualification
