The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the customer-facing sales force throughout the sales cycle--from lead generation to order fulfillment. This role involves executing and improving selected sales activities with limited supervision, ensuring seamless customer interactions and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Qualification
Respond to incoming customer inquiries via calls and emails.
Qualify leads and route them to appropriate sales professionals.
Quotation & Order Processing
Prepare budgetary quotes for simple to complex jobs by gathering technical data, lead times, and presentation materials.
Receive and process orders, issue acknowledgements, invoices, and shipping notices.
Communicate order and inventory status to sales teams and customers.
Customer Engagement & Issue Resolution
Participate in customer visits and events.
Resolve customer issues independently or escalate when necessary.
Support post-sale activities including shipment and service coordination.
Inventory & Sales Support
Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders as needed.
Assist branch personnel in retail sales across various tasks.
Marketing Activities
Support initiatives like
Mitwa
and
Fleet Connect
to enhance customer engagement and brand visibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or diplomas in business, sales, or marketing are a plus.
May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
