Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused
Inside Sales Associate
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, customer communication, product explanation, quotation management, and supporting overall sales growth. This is a non-field, office-based role focused on remote sales interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify, research, and qualify new leads through calls, emails, and online platforms.
Maintain accurate lead information in CRM.
Customer Engagement
Communicate with prospective customers to understand their requirements, applications, and product needs.
Present product information clearly and professionally.
Sales Operations
Prepare quotations, follow up proactively, and drive conversions.
Handle pricing discussions as per company guidelines.
Support field sales team with lead handover and coordination.
Product Knowledge
Understand and explain features of life science products such as ELISA kits, antibodies, proteins, assays, and related research tools.
Coordinate with technical team for product specifications or customer queries.
Order & Documentation Management
Process orders, track deliveries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain proper documentation for quotations, orders, and communications.
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure timely follow-ups for quotations.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Reporting
Update CRM regularly.
Provide daily/weekly reports on leads, follow-ups, and closed deals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related fields.
0-3 years of experience in inside sales or customer-facing roles
Strong communication skills--both written and verbal.
Ability to understand and explain scientific products.
Excellent follow-up discipline and time management.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office is an advantage.
