& Summary:
AEM QA Specialist
Responsibilities:
Champion good testing practices among team members and vendors.
Develop comprehensive test plans covering usability, unit, integration, vulnerability, system, acceptance, parallel, regression, automation, and mobile testing.
Collaborate with service providers to ensure proper training and monitor test execution.
Identify and leverage test automation opportunities, selecting tools and frameworks and ensuring team training.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
Drive improvements in testing processes through lessons learned or root-cause analysis.
Oversee proper regression testing upon system changes.
Coordinate and maintain test environments across IBU.
Communicate testing status and issues to stakeholders.
Liaise with business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Apply corporate testing policies and industry best practices.
Mandatory skill sets:
Proven experience as a QA engineer with a strong focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Strong understanding of AEM authoring, content structures and publishing workflows, DAM.
Validate AEM page structures, templates and components across different environments.
Knowledge of concepts such as DAM, MSM, Package Manager.
Conduct functional and regression testing to identify the defects in AEM implementation.
Ensure AEM pages render correctly across multiple browsers and devices.
Validate AEM integrations with third-party systems such as APIs, analytics, and authentication services.
Define and execute test plans, test cases and QA processes for AEM remediation efforts.
Track and manage defects using JIRA (or similar issue tracking tool) and collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills.
Self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred skill sets:
Certifications in AEM.
Accessibility, security and performance testing within AEM.
Experience writing automated tests for AEM components, templates, workflows and APIs.
Detailed knowledge of manual and automated testing (e.g., Saucelabs, Appium, Selenium, Jenkins).
