Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Implementation Design and configure SAP PaPM models for profitability analysis, cost allocations, and performance simulations. Translate business requirements into PaPM functions such as allocations, calculations, joins, reads, and writes. Build and manage PaPM environments including modeling, data flow, and rule definitions. Data Integration & Modeling Integrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA, and other external systems. Develop and maintain data models, views, and functions to support business logic and reporting. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across models. Performance Management & Analytics Enable real-time simulations and scenario analysis for profitability and cost management. Support financial planning, cost transparency, and operational efficiency initiatives. Collaborate with finance, controlling, and business teams to deliver actionable insights. Documentation & Training Prepare functional and technical documentation including design specs, test scripts, and user guides. Conduct training sessions and workshops for business users and finance teams. Governance & Support Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards. Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for PaPM models and processes. --- Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. 5-10 years of experience in financial modeling and analytics, with at least 2-3 years in SAP PaPM. Strong knowledge of: SAP PaPM functions and modeling techniques Profitability analysis, cost allocations, and performance metrics Integration with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and HANA Proficiency in SQL, HANA modeling, and data transformation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. --- Preferred Qualifications: SAP PaPM certification. Experience with SAP BPC, SAC Planning, or other financial planning tools. Exposure to predictive modeling and scenario simulation. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in industries like manufacturing, utilities, banking, or telecom.
