Responsibilities
Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex financial models to support deal structuring, valuation, data strategy, and other key strategic decisions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Strategy, Valuation, Finance, and Business Development to gather relevant inputs and assumptions for model creation. Oversee a team of financial modelling analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure high-quality deliverables. Drive standardization and documentation of modelling methodologies and best practices within the deals team. Analyze model outputs to identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities and present meaningful insights to senior stakeholders. Support deal execution processes such as M&A transactions, capital raising, and investment appraisals through accurate and timely financial modelling. Ensure integrity and consistency in all financial models by implementing rigorous review and validation processes. Mentor and develop junior team members to build capacity and foster a collaborative team environment.
