Job Summary:
The Filter Lab Engineer is responsible for product validation as per defined test standards.
It includes, performing technical and operational tasks including preparing samples, bench setup, conducting tests, recording data, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment also ensuring all procedures are followed according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
Test priority, and ontime completion of required tests
Co ordination with project managers, Plant for sample arrangement and planning the test.
Ensure equipment is clean and in proper working order.
Document equipment maintenance and calibration records.
Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests and analyses.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
Accurately record and document test results.
Analyze test results, and report abnormalities.
Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory activities.
Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
Order supplies as needed.
Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Comply with all relevant regulatory requirement
Qualifications
Essential
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Relevant experience (1 -2 years) in Filtration Product Management / Benchmarking, competitive analysis or Filter Product design engineering or Filters ( Fuel / air /oil/ cabin ) Product development
Knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

Basic knowledge in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
