• Develop and implement a comprehensive landscape management plan for the campus that prioritizes sustainability, biodiversity, and visual appeal
• Identify, diagnose, and treat plant diseases and pests using integrated pest management techniques and environmentally responsible strategies
• Analyze soil and water quality and develop appropriate fertilization, irrigation, and drainage strategies to support plant growth and health.
• Develop and implement best practices for plant propagation, transplanting, pruning, and other horticultural activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess the health and quality of the landscape, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address any issues.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of plant inventory, including species, location, and health status.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and codes.
• Develop and manage budgets for horticulture-related expenses.

• Maintain a high level of knowledge of current research, trends, and best practices in horticulture, and use this knowledge to continuously improve the horticulture program
• Design and implement smart irrigation systems that optimize water usage and reduce waste
• Manage the maintenance of hardscape features such as walkways, retaining walls, and fountains
• Develop and implement programs to enhance the campus\'s sustainability, including the promotion of waste reduction, and water conservation
• Coordinate with other facilities personnel to ensure that landscape maintenance activities are integrated with other facilities management functions
• Provide guidance, support and train other facilities personnel in the India region to ensure that they have the knowledge and resources needed to maintain their landscapes to the highest standards

• Bachelor\'s degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design and management
• In-depth knowledge of plant biology, soil science, pest management, irrigation, and other technical aspects of horticulture.
• Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and environmental sustainability principles
• Experience with a variety of landscape maintenance tools and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and pruning tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to occasionally travel to other locations within the India region
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate seasonal changes and special events
