The In-Process Quality Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring product quality during the manufacturing process. The role involves inspection of components, verification against engineering drawings, and maintaining quality records to ensure compliance with internal and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process quality inspections of mechanical components as per quality plans.
Read, understand, and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications.
Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities during production.
Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation using MS Excel.
Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
Support continuous improvement activities related to in-process quality.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience up-to 2 to 3 yrs in the same field.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Good knowledge of mechanical engineering drawings and drawing interpretation.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality inspection methods.
Proficiency in MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.
Computer Literacy
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
