Job Overview

: We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing team. The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry and be well-versed in quality Inspection and having knowledge in PPAP, APQP, IATF, FMEA, SPC, MSA.

Responsibilities:

a) Awareness in sheet metal stamping and welding process.

b) Awareness on quality systems standards like IATF 16949 Standards

c) Knowledge in handling & usage of inspection & testing equipment and visual inspection.

d) Preparation of quality records for in-process inspection, SPC data collection for special characteristics.

e) Carry out Set-up, First-off, Patrol & Last-off inspection & approval as per Control Plan, Operations standards, inspection standards, and work instruction

f) Identifying & communicating non-conformance to concerned departments.

g) Check products for free from customer complaints

h) Capable of identifying the continuous improvements ideas & suggesting.

i) Knowledge in drawing study

j) Inhouse rejection data collection

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar.

Preferred Location:

Hosur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem and candidates willing to relocate.
