Responsibilities:
? Work as a subject matter expert on Manufacturing Execution System and its various applications and modules. ? Work extensively with team members and client to assess their detailed MES requirements and form functional and technical specifications. ? Lead process capability mapping initiatives related to MES business processes and establish a narrative on application maturity. ? Must have knowledge of various modules and functionalities of MES like Traceability, Planning and Production order management, Quality Management, Workforce management and Maintenance management. ? Design and carry out Digital Maturity Assessment of MES applications across various manufacturing sectors like Automotive, Oil & Gas, Textile, Chemicals etc. ? Perform architecture and design review of MES application at an Enterprise level/ Plant level/Shop floor level. ? Lead on site efforts for data collection, workshops and walkthrough sessions with technical and functional stakeholders for MES and related applications. ? Prepare a framework and roadmap for integrating MES with other enterprise level applications, OT layer, other Digital solutions like IIoT platform, Energy Management Systems etc. ? Prepare and contextualize business cases detailing benefits of various initiatives under MES with client specific business benefits. ? Drive the creation of program level application and technical architecture documents which leverage MES best practices. ? Perform capability, architecture and design reviews, while troubleshooting key implementation and operational issues, and demonstrating the ability to drive to successful resolution. ? Review and pro-active correction of project/program direction, approach and key artifacts to keep programs on track, solutions extendable and maintainable going forward. ? Should have experience in working in on premises, (cloud and hybrid are plus) environments.
Mandatory skill sets:
? Overall, 4+ Years of experience in MES, MOM, MES integration with SAP, OPC UA layers and APIs and other integration products. In depth knowledge and Experience in MES applications. ? MES design, development and implementation of custom build MES modules. ? Must have knowledge on few of the COTS MES products like Syncade , Plex, Proficy Smart Factory, Opcenter Execution, Cantier. ? MES implementation experience in multiple continuous and batch manufacturing industry sectors ? Extensive knowledge and hands on experience in interfacing MES with OT
layer including SCADA, PLCs, DCS and with other enterprise applications like ERP, IIoT platform. ? Good oral and written communication is mandatory. ? Develops strong stake holders and vendor management by building trust, rapport and positive working relationships with key sponsors and team members. ? Remain current with leading edge industry and technology drivers and innovations. ? Manage discussions with various levels of technical audiences and functional stakeholders. ? Domain experience in Banking industry is a plus.
