An Injection Moulding Operator/Supervisor in manufacturing ensures efficient, high-quality production by operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines. Key responsibilities include setting up machines, maintaining quality standards, managing operators and staff, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and ensuring workplace safety and compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of moulding processes, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team to meet production targets and minimize waste. Responsibilities

Machine Operation and Setup

: Set up, monitor, and operate injection moulding machines to produce plastic parts.

Quality Control

: Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards, identify defects like warping and flashing, and implement corrective actions.

Production Management

: Monitor production metrics, manage raw material supply, and ensure the team meets output and delivery targets.

Troubleshooting

: Diagnose and resolve machine or moulding process issues and adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) to optimize efficiency.

Team Leadership (Supervisor)

: Lead, mentor, and train operators and other staff; assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and enforce workplace discipline.

Maintenance

: Coordinate with maintenance teams for routine checks and repairs to ensure uninterrupted production.

Safety and Compliance

: Enforce safety protocols, hygiene standards, and compliance with health and environmental regulations.

Continuous Improvement

: Implement strategies to reduce waste, optimize cycle times, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.

Record Keeping

: Maintain production records, shift reports, and downtime logs.

Technical Knowledge

: Strong understanding of injection moulding machines, equipment, materials, and processes.

Problem-Solving

: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address production issues.

Leadership

: Experience in a supervisory role with the ability to lead, motivate, and train a team.

: Knowledge of quality control procedures and methods for resolving defects.

: Ability to collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality, and supply chain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
