Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup:

Install molds, set up parameters (temperature, pressure, timing). Calibrate machines according to job specifications.

Operation & Monitoring:

Start and stop machines according to production schedules. Monitor cycle times, quality, and consistency of molded parts. Detect and troubleshoot issues (short shots, flash, burn marks, warping).

Quality Control:

Inspect parts visually and with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers). Record data and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Maintenance & Housekeeping:

Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance. Keep machines, molds, and workspace clean.

Documentation:

Complete production reports and machine logs. Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Understanding of

plastic materials

(ABS, PP, PE, Nylon, etc.). Familiarity with

molding machine operation

(Arburg, Engel, Nissei, Husky, etc.). Basic

mechanical and troubleshooting skills

. Ability to read

blueprints or technical drawings

. Knowledge of

ISO standards

and

safety procedures

.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

1-3 years in injection molding or manufacturing preferred.
