Description:
CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Specialist - Cloud Application Operations position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS to support enterprise applications.
Build and maintain certified Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) for organizational use.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
Automate operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting.
Configure and monitor cloud services including VPC, EC2, Route53, KMS, IAM, Lambda, EventBridge, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, CloudTrail, Config, and more.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are implemented across all cloud environments.
Skills:
Strong AWS DevOps expertise and hands-on experience with core AWS services.
Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Proficient in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud environments.
Experience:
Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with AMI creation and maintenance.
Prior experience with cloud automation and DevOps practices.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
