Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Implement SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
Automate deployments, scaling, and incident management using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Monitoring & Observability: Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and logs (LogicMonitor,Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Optimize cost and performance of cloud infrastructure. (Kubernetes Metrics Server, AWS CloudWatch or GCP Monitoring, Thanos)
Security & Compliance: Apply best practices for cloud security and data protection.
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines.
Respond to and resolve production incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
Participate in on-call rotations and ensure proper incident documentation.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (LogicMonitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Knowledge of security and compliance in cloud environments
Soft Skills:
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
Fluent English
Able to work in a global environment
Strong presentation skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, etc.).
