We are seeking a skilled macOS infrastructure specialist to manage and support enterprise-grade Apple device environments using JAMF Pro. This role involves workstation administration, software distribution, compliance enforcement, and technical consulting across a global footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Mac Workstation & Endpoint Management
Administer and support macOS workstations using JAMF Pro
Implement and maintain policies, configuration profiles, and scripts
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for macOS clients
JAMF Pro Administration & Maintenance
Install and manage JAMF Pro server infrastructure
Monitor system performance and apply corrective actions
Perform routine maintenance, database integrity checks, and application updates (patches, hotfixes, service packs)
Support & Troubleshooting
Respond to and resolve helpdesk incidents and service requests (Level 1-3)
Execute disaster recovery procedures for JAMF infrastructure
Identify and implement corrective actions (CLCA)
Device Lifecycle & Profile Management
Create and manage configuration profiles and compliance policies
Enroll, provision, retire, and wipe macOS and iOS devices
Configure macOS-specific profiles including ESP and branding for Company Portal
Software Packaging & Distribution
Package and deploy LOB and store applications across macOS and iOS/iPadOS platforms
Convert applications to JAMF-compatible formats and manage deployment groups
Administer software metering and license distribution
Maintain Self Service Portal content and provide Tier 2 support for distribution issues
Reporting & Analytics
Generate hardware/software inventory and usage reports
Customize inventory schema and build Power BI dashboards
Administer JAMF web reporting and create custom reports
Project Coordination & Communication
Coordinate infrastructure-related administrative tasks including scheduling, tracking, and change management
Deliver metrics and utilization reports on operational review cycles
Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Serve as liaison with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors
Patch Management
Manage patching for macOS workstations and non-ITS servers
Approve and package security updates in alignment with enterprise standards
Test and deploy updates according to rollout schedules
Basic Qualifications
BS/Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience
3-7 years of experience in:
macOS workstation and endpoint management
Custom macOS package creation and deployment
Integration with AD, LDAP, and Kerberos
Supporting client/server environments and core networking technologies (LAN/WAN, SMTP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing iOS/iPadOS devices
Familiarity with BeyondTrust and CrowdStrike
Azure VM administration
Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar languages
* Experience in large-scale or international enterprise environments
