This role is responsible for maintaining network solutions and assisting with implementing, monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the IT Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Respond
to requests related to systems and resolve reported network issues.
Troubleshoot
and resolve issues in a timely manner with oversight from team members; apply basic best practice knowledge in problem resolution.
Contribute to projects involving installations, upgrades and modernization of servers and systems
Assist
with audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines.
Provide
support for Infrastructure systems such as server maintenance, storage, networking, database administration, network security, messaging, directory services, server virtualization, monitoring, etc.
Compose
internal documentation with oversight from team members that reflects processes and system configuration.
Establishes
networking environment by implementing system configuration, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
Secures network
system by enforcing procedures with minimal oversight from other team members.
Implement
and maintain recovery procedures for systems with oversight from other team members.
Monitor
systems for anomalies and disruptions, and respond accordingly with minimal oversight from team members.
Gathers
information for audits of network devices to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines.
Provide
input for innovative and assist in implementation of effective and successful changes to processes or technology.
Basic Qualifications: About
2-3 years
of experience as a
Network Administrator or Infrastructure Administrator
Good experience in systems administration
Good experience with
Windows, McOS
Operating systems
Experience with virtualization technology
Knowledge of
Dell, IBM, Cisco and/or HP
server
hardware
Experience with Microsoft Windows network environments, including
Microsoft Active Directory
Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Driven to learn and stay current with technology
Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.) -
on call rotations every 6 months for 2 weeks
