The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, developing, maintaining, and optimizing physical infrastructure across the real estate portfolio. This role ensures that all buildings, utilities, and site infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards while supporting business and tenant needs.
Oversee operation and maintenance of building infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, and utilities
Ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of infrastructure systems across properties
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Project & Capital Works Management
Plan and manage infrastructure upgrades, renovations, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Vendor & Contractor Management
Select, negotiate, and manage service providers and contractors
Monitor performance, SLAs, and cost efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety and contractual obligations
Compliance, Safety & Risk Management
Ensure properties comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Implement health, safety, and emergency response procedures
Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare and manage infrastructure and maintenance budgets
Track OPEX and CAPEX expenditures
Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
Sustainability & Asset Optimization
Implement energy efficiency, sustainability, and ESG initiatives
Monitor utility consumption and asset lifecycle performance
Recommend technology and automation solutions for smarter buildings
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with asset managers, property managers, leasing teams, and tenants
Provide technical guidance and reporting to senior management
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field
7-12 years of experience in infrastructure, facilities, or technical management within real estate or large commercial assets
Strong knowledge of building systems and infrastructure operations
Proven experience managing large-scale projects and budgets
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical and analytical skills
Project management and vendor management expertise
Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Financial acumen and budgeting skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred
Experience with commercial, retail, industrial, or mixed-use real estate portfolios
Certifications such as PMP, IFMA, RICS, or equivalent
Exposure to sustainability, energy management, or smart building systems
