Location:

We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Minnesota, London, and New Delhi. This will be a hybrid position based in the New Delhi area requiring you to be in the office 2-3 days a week currently.

About the role:

IT Infrastructure at TMB is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in storage, backup, and disaster recovery planning, execution, and daily operations.

The Infrastructure Engineer specializes in designing and developing systems and infrastructures based on client preferences and industry standards. You will work with on-premises hardware, as well as multiple Cloud service providers (e.g. Azure, Oracle, Google, AWS) to provide reliable application services to the company\'s development teams and employees.

This role also provides technical support across a broad range of technologies through strong working relationships with business groups, internal IT staff, the IT service desk and third-party support providers

This role reports to the Manager of Infrastructure Operations and will have strong relationships with other Digital Business team leaders.

About you:

You should have a strong background in designing, maintaining, and supporting technical solutions specifically as it relates to both internal storage, SAN, NAS, cloud storage, and backup and recovery products. You should have experience with VEAM, Synology, Dell SAN, AWS Snapshots, GCP and other similar products. You will have excellent troubleshooting skills. You should enjoy working with a team of experienced Infrastructure professionals, development team members and dedicated business leads and product owners.

Your day-day:

The Infrastructure Engineer is typically involved in supporting large/medium scale projects and managing day to day tasks and operations.

• Monitor all backup jobs and ensure our corporate data is properly secure
• Monitor all storage systems both internal and external for capacity or performance issues
• Setup and monitor data synch jobs as necessary
• Work closely with the Video teams to manage their data, optimize access, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Contribute as technical resource on infrastructure & other Digital Services projects as assigned - Providing technical expertise, designing, and implementing quality solutions to business challenges
• Identify and perform proactive and preventive maintenance tasks, for example, monitoring and alerting, patching, and updating, managing the remediation of vulnerabilities and other maintenance tasks to maximize the availability of the IT infrastructure
• Analyzing the impact of proposed changes to existing infrastructure on existing systems
• Providing technical support to other members of the infrastructure team throughout the design process
• Assisting in the development of new standards and procedures for use in future projects
• Be proactive in developing and maintaining your technical awareness, researching industry developments, and where appropriate, making recommendations for improvement
• Maintain, develop, and test IT service recovery plans in accordance with TMB\xe2\x80\x99s business continuity plan

You have:

• 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting complex infrastructure environments
• Significant experience with at least two of the major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, Google, Oracle)
• Significant experience with Storage Area Networks hardware and software.
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, SAML/OAUTH, enterprise hardware (servers, storage solutions etc.)
• Expertise in at least one server Operating System: Windows Server or Linux
• Scripting skills (PHP, Python, PowerShell etc.)
• Solid understanding of networking (Firewall/ACL\xe2\x80\x99s, DHCP/DNS, Routing, TCP/IP
• Excellent troubleshooting skills are required
