Job Overview Role: Infrastructure Engineer II - DnA Platform Location: Mumbai We have an exciting opportunity to join the Enterprise Platform Team in Data & Analytics Squad. The individual will work with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers, Cyber Security Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and Enterprise Teams to architect, build and deploy sustainable, secure, reliable & resilient Big Data foundation to support General Mills Data Analytics projects including associated standards, procedures & processes. Role Responsibilities . Partnering with Product Owners, Architects and Delivery teams to develop technical service roadmaps. . Development of provisioning processes for Data Lake resources that follow Core Public Cloud Principles, including IaaS & PaaS. . Development of auditable Infrastructure, Software & Data Deployment processes using IaC principal. . Collaborate to provide technical direction on architecting, designing, building and deploying cloud solution for Enterprise Applications and Data and Analytics teams with expertise in Cloud Platform Architecture and Engineering. . Contribute to product milestones by solving most complex problems, through understanding dependencies in both in platform and software product(s). . Contribute in development of Cyber Security processes including logging, audit & governance processes. . Evaluate new cloud capabilities (applications /software/tools). . Vendor relationships and understands industry trends enabling them to collaborate on the overall technology roadmap. . Consults on implementing cost optimized cloud solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget). . Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing research positions. . Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts. . Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment. Must - have technical skills and experience . 5+ years of relevant IT Infrastructure/DevOps experience with 3+ years of experience with designing and implementing cloud infrastructure. . Automation first mindset. . Should have Worked on tools like Terraform, Ansible and extensive experience of working on Infrastructure Automation using Python and Shell scripting. . Experience working with infrastructure as code such as Terraform, or equivalent is a plus. Proficiency in building/enabling cloud services using IaC tool Terraform. . Experience with concepts, processes & tools required for cloud adoption including cloud security, governance, and integration. . Experience with GCP Big Query, Snowflake and MaxCompute. . Strong knowledge of cloud Security practices and Cloud IAM Policy. . Expertise in deployment, building, scanning, and monitoring of the infrastructure in Cloud (GCP or Azure or AWS or Ali Cloud). . Experience with agile techniques and methods. . Familiarity with user expectations for cloud Databases (to be able to design user centric engineering services - e.g., provisioning self-service workflow) . Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. . High Availability & Disaster Recovery Processes design and implementation. . Working knowledge on DevOps, Agile development processes, exploration and POCs . Works well collaboratively across functional team boundaries. Good to have skills . Good understanding of Linux OS and Windows Server. . Strong cloud programming skill with experience in API and Cloud Functions development. . Knowledge of Server configuration and hardening. . Proficiency in Server automation using Ansible or Salt. . Hands-on experience with enterprise config & DevOps tools. . Experience in Database products like Datastore, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner & Cloud Bigtable. . Knowledge and experience in API development, AI/ML, Data Lake, Data Analytics. . Ability to participate in fast-paced DevOps and System Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes. .
