Oil & Gas Client invites applications for the role of Senior Cloud Engineer xc3xa2xe2x82xac Operating Systems within our team in India. As an Operating System Engineer you will be responsible for designing and deploying and maintaining infrastructure solutions that support application and other core services that require Windows or Linux OS across the Enterprise. This position will provide broad exposure to the application of technology to enable business with many opportunities for growth and professional development for the candidate. Roles & Responsibilities: xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Partner with architects, cloud engineers, other infrastructure and application experts to provide application hosting solutions that fully leverage the computing and storage resources on-premises and in the Cloud. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Development of new implementations as well as the analysis and enhancement of existing solutions to advance business capabilities. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Designing and developing enterprise capabilities and solutions for Azure cloud and VMWare focusing on Windows or Linux OS. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Deploying and setting up Windows or Linux Server environments to meet organizational needs. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Administering Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Continuously monitoring system performance and addressing any issues promptly to ensure optimal operation. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Ensuring systems are secure by implementing and maintaining security protocols, compliance and updates. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues to minimize downtime. Professional & Technical Skills: xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Must have bachelorxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s degree in computer science engineering or related discipline xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 A Minimum of 5-10 years of total experience xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Minimum 5+ years of Azure Experience and relevant experience in OS Management. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 AZ900 Certification & AZ 400 Certification. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Extensive expertise in IT platforms, storage solutions, networking, and virtualization technologies (Azure, VMware). xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Proficient in one or more operating systems, including Microsoft Server Technologies (Server 2019, Server Core, etc.) or Linux Operating Systems (RedHat, SUSE, etc.). xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of distributed applications. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 In-depth knowledge of security best practices and tools to ensure secure deployment and management of Windows or Linux systems. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Practical experience with cloud methodologies, automation, orchestration, and DevOps practices. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Skilled proficiency in managing and configuring Windows or Linux systems in both domain and non-domain joined environments. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Extensive experience in the automation, configuration, and deployment of Windows or Linux operating systems. xc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa2 Experience in VMware Virtual machine creation, allocations and management.
