Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm striving for excellence in financial markets research We are seeking an Infra Monitoring Engineer for our team in Gurgaon Graviton trades across a multitude of asset classes and trading venues using a gamut of concepts and techniques ranging from time series analysis, filtering, classification, stochastic models, pattern recognition to statistical inference analyzing terabytes of data to come up with ideas to identify pricing anomalies in financial markets Responsibilities: Start and supervise Graviton s automated trading systems in a variety of markets for trading team Investigate and troubleshoot trading system operational issues Deploy and maintain network and server hardware, systems management software, and storage technologies. Provide the necessary tooling to automate tasks and implement/scale/test infrastructure services. Proactively working on issues, identifying problem areas, and providing solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems Configuration management Work with vendors to resolve issues Performance testing and tuning Coordinate with remote hand technicians to troubleshoot server or hardware issues and provide break/fix resolution for our data centers globally. Open to work in rotational shifts / weekend Shifts Qualifications 4+years of industry experience with Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Jenkins and Icinga, including configuration, customization, and integration. Experience with configuration management tools Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, scripting (Python, Bash, or similar), and network troubleshooting. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Knowledge of Networking and network security principles.
