Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Identify automation opportunities across enterprise IT infrastructure, focusing on virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), HCI (Nutanix, Azure Stack HCI), and Azure Cloud services. Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Shell. Automate operational tasks across virtual and cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, and incident response. Integrate automation with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) for ticketing, self-healing, and service request workflows. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor automation performance and impact. Utilize configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform) for infrastructure automation and compliance. Should have good understanding of On-Prem Infrastructure and cloud technologies. Implement automation for Azure services including Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Azure Monitor. Collaborate with infrastructure, service desk, and desktop support teams to identify recurring issues and automate resolutions. Ensure all automation solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation processes and tools. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure automation, with a focus on virtualization and enterprise environments. Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Shell. Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and HCI solutions (Nutanix, Azure Stack HCI). Solid understanding and practical experience with

Azure Cloud technologies

, including automation using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Azure Monitor, and related services. Proficiency in configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform). Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and integration of automation workflows. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in IT operations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues remotely. Experience interacting with global customers and cross-functional teams. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent VMware Certified Professional (VCP) -Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
