About the role As a Server Administration, Assistant Manager, Information Technology at Indospirit you will be required to configure and manage servers of different operating systems, such as Windows and Linux, including installing, fixing issues, and upgrading while implementing enhancements to it to improve performance and reliability. You will also design, implement, and manage enterprise system technologies. As a server engineer, you have to take care of the server environment, which includes installing new servers, taking out servers, fixing issues with existing servers, and helping other IT departments in tackling specific server-related assignments as well. You should be able to research new hardware and software technologies to understand and learn them so that you can train and guide your team members from other departments and use best practices and keep in touch with internal and external business matters to enhance the products and services of their organization.
What you will do day to day?

• Support technologies, such as Active Directory, DFS, Terminal Servers, Hyper V, Internet Information Server, System Centre Operations Manager(SCCM), and file server migrations.
• Manage computers and other related devices on networks, Active Directory (AD), created by Microsoft, and is able to utilize the same.
• Should be familiar with Cloud Solutions, virtualization software, such as VMware and Hyper-V, and scripting with PowerShell and Citrix XenDesktop and VDI Solutions.
• Provide support for implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, oversee and resolve problems of the server, network devices, storage, and client devices, and support IT systems of all end users on a daily basis by monitoring, and troubleshooting. Moreover, diagnose, detect, and resolve other issues.
• Thorough understanding of patching tools and security vulnerability scanning and ability to interpret information in the generated reports and come up with strategies to get rid of unearthed vulnerabilities.
• Should be able to create project plans for all system deployment and modifications and document them.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum Qualification: Graduation/DIT or Diploma in IT
• Relevant 5-8 years of experience.
• Experience in Data Centre and Active Directory, SAP module.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment as a team member
