Role Description:

The Cyber Hygiene department is part of the Chief Security Office in Deutsche Bank and responsible for detection and communication of cyber security risk, mainly emerging from vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and coding flaws. Cyber Hygienes objectives include monitoring of risk remediation progress and supporting divisions in strategic risk mitigation activities. The open role is within the team Configuration Scanning which regularly scans configuration of DBs assets and technologies against industry benchmarks and assesses discovered deviations regarding its actual risk to DB. The team is focused on helping Deutsche Banks in hardening its infrastructure to protect DBs assets from emerging cyber threats. This will involve maintaining a close dialogue with various units and stakeholders for the purpose of detecting and assessing potential risks to critical business infrastructure and services and to plan and track remediation activities.

Your key responsibilities:

• In this role you will be expected to operate the process of scanning the configuration of DBs assets against customized CIS benchmarks, assess and understand the discovered results, and communicate the outcome to the respective asset owners.
• You will maintain our scanning policies and align the industry recommended CIS benchmarks with our DB internal technology owners.
• You will also assess our core builds for Windows and Unix technologies as well as images of our google cloud platform against the defined benchmark.
• You will be expected to be able to identify areas for improvement and take accountability to drive security topics forward within and outside the team.
• In this role, you will also contribute to the continuous improvement of configuration scanning solution for all asset types, including maintenance of scanning benchmarks (CIS benchmarks), reports, dashboards, rules/logic, documentation, and process establishment.
• You will work in close cooperation with other Cyber Hygiene teams, Cyber Intelligence, Incident Response, and the Security Operations Centre for the purpose of extending and strengthening the division\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities relating to threat analytics for on-prem and cloud services.

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with hardening and configuration of IT assets like servers or desktops and/or cloud assets in GCP/AWS or alternatively MS Azure.
• Experience in setting up Unix or Windows servers or GCP cloud assets
• Familiarity with Cyber Security Incident Response or computer forensic processes, or a strong interest and capability to learn the fundamentals of security operations within a short time.
• Familiarity with Vulnerability Management and Cyber Risk Management

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on cloud and network technology, software development, or IT security.
• Certifications as CompTIA Security +, Google Cloud, Azure platforms can be considered a plus but they\xe2\x80\x99re not mandatory.
• Any relevant Cyber Security Certifications
