We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Data Protection and Information Security Project Manager

to join our Risk Management team. The ideal candidate will lead strategic data protection initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage enterprise-level security projects within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:Project & Stakeholder Management

Lead enterprise-level Data Protection and Information Security initiatives. Manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget. Maintain direct and indirect engagement with senior and executive management. Ensure alignment of security initiatives with business strategies and regulatory requirements.

Strategic Security Leadership

Integrate data protection strategies into the broader business framework. Advocate for data protection investments and communicate their strategic value. Foster a security-first culture and promote continuous improvement across teams.

Technical & Operational Expertise

Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and other security technologies. Perform risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments. Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and compliance management practices. Drive incident response strategies and manage compliance to global standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST CSF, etc.).

Governance & Compliance

Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate risk mitigation plans. Stay up to date with evolving technologies and regulatory changes. Align security programs with international compliance frameworks and best practices.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in the Data Protection, Information Security, and Project Management domains. Strong experience in the banking/financial services sector.

Technical Certifications (preferred):

CISSP, CISM, CCSP, PMP, CIPT, CompTIA Security+

Preferred Attributes:

Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills. Expertise in advanced technology stacks and control environments from a data protection perspective. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹230,000.00 per month
