GlobalLogic is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Python Developer with 1- years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable ETL processes and data pipelines that support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives. This position requires strong programming skills, an understanding of databases, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand and fulfill their data requirements.
Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software development, ETL development, or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming.
• Solid understanding of Database concepts and proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience in project development using any programming language.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Data Structures.
• Basic understanding of Operating Systems, particularly Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical mindset.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using internal tools and programming languages (preferably Python).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements aligned with business objectives and data quality expectations.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows, ensuring they remain accurate and up-to-date with changes in source data, target systems, or business logic.
• Document all ETL processes including architecture, data sources, transformation rules, target systems, and related business logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data inconsistencies, ETL performance, and system errors.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and security in all ETL processes.
