While managing a world-class team of technology experts, you\'ll partner with one or more disciplines, lines of business, regions or locations to respond to evolving business requirements and emerging threats. You\'ll also leverage your expert knowledge of today\'s ever-changing cybersecurity and risk landscape to influence IT operations across the firm. Responsibilities include offering guidance, best practices, and support across businesses, leading risk reviews and vulnerability assessments, identifying threats, communicating with senior leaders and other stakeholders, and managing budgets.

• Participate and contribute in risk identification, assessment and treatment

• Advise and manage operational risk in line with the firm\'s standards
• Support and co-ordinate interaction with 2nd Line of Defense, Audit, Regulators & Customers
• Support requests for information on control obligations
• Identify areas for systematic and process improvement
• Drive operational risk management subject matter expertise
• Support and advise process owners in managing operational risk
• Provides a transparent view of the operational risk posture to stakeholders
• Partners with Product Security to ensure design and implemented controls are operating in alignment with firm, regulatory and industry standards
• Assess the effectiveness of technology controls against requirements and policy standards

Required qualifications and skills

• An understanding of risk management practices in a technical environment
• Ability to understand and translate technical risk to enable the business through risk advisory on the products you support
• Self-motivated and with a desire to learn
• Empathy and ability to work with different working styles, leadership and personalities
• Technical understanding of cloud and on-prem computing (Public, Private, Hybrid).
• Experience in information security management and/or governance
• Experience with risk management & controls governance
• Passion to solve issues
• Risk identification & assessment
• Have worked with or are familiar with data security standards such as (PHI, PII, PCI, etc\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Risk monitoring and reporting
• Strong business acumen
• CISA / CISM / CISSP / CRISC is a plus
• Modern development practices
• Broad knowledge of industry controls (NIST, ISO, PCI, SOC)

Preferred qualifications and skills

Basic technical and operational understanding of financial services regulations

About the Team: The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm\'s cybersecurity, access management, controls and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group\'s number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable and resilient.

High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters.
