As our

Information Security Lead

, you'll take ownership of our ISO27001 and SOC2 implementation project, working across departments and alongside external consultants to help us achieve audit readiness over the next 2-3 months. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll manage timelines, track control implementation, support documentation, and keep momentum high across the organization. You'll play a key part in shaping our security and compliance maturity during a critical stage of our growth.


Your role will be crucial in shaping our market presence and scaling our operations over the next three years, contributing to the ongoing success of our mission-driven company.


This will be

a short-term contract role

with opportunities for extension and long-term employment depending on your performance and business needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the day-to-day execution of our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 implementation plans across the organisation. Liaising with external consultants for guidance and support. Coordinating with internal cross-functional stakeholders (Product & Engineering, Legal, HR, IT, etc.). Reviewing policies, procedures and process documentation prepared by external consultants. Tracking risks, open items, and audit readiness status using internal and external tools. Supporting internal risk assessments, access reviews, and mock audits ahead of formal certification.

Your Experience

-------------------


Hands-on experience supporting or managing ISO 27001 or SOC 2 implementation projects. Strong understanding of internal controls, GRC tooling, policy development, and compliance workflows. Prior work with SaaS companies, fast-paced startups or consulting firms focused on information security Familiarity with common cloud platforms (AWS, Github, Hubspot, Salesforce, etc), InfoSec tools (Sprinto, Vanta, Drata, etc.), and modern documentation systems Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously across global teams Legally able to work in home country without sponsorship

You've taken a company through both ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness or audits You have worked at a Series A or Series B scaleup You bring a blend of project management rigor and technical fluency
