Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, as well as expertise in PL/SQL programming. In this role, resource will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining ETL workflows and database solutions for the client\xe2\x80\x99s data needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target databases.
Write, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support data retrieval and manipulation.
Create and modify database objects (tables, views, indexes) as needed.
Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL and database solutions.
Integrate data from different systems and sources to provide a unified view of information.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL workflows and database queries.
Optimize SQL queries for improved database performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and system administrators, to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven 5 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming and Oracle database technologies.
Experience in Netezza would be an added advantage.
Familiarity with data modelling concepts and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and SQL queries.
Certifications in Informatica and Oracle Database/Netezza are advantageous.
