Position: Informatica BDM Developer

Location: Remote (Saudi Shift)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) Developer to design, develop, and optimise data integration workflows across modern data platforms. The role requires strong ETL expertise, hands-on experience with Informatica BDM, and familiarity with Hadoop or cloud-based ecosystems. You'll be working on high-volume data pipelines, transforming structured and unstructured data for enterprise analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica BDM for ingestion, transformation, and loading. Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources into data lakes or enterprise data warehouses. Optimise mappings and workflows for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance. Collaborate with data architects and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Work with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to process large datasets. Perform data quality validation, checks, and documentation for all data flows. Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in both development and production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

3-4+ years of hands-on experience with

Informatica BDM / PowerCenter / IICS

Strong ETL development skills with deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.

Experience in Hadoop environments (HDFS, Hive, Spark) or cloud-native data services (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, BigQuery). Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and data governance principles. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with experience working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with Python or Scala for data processing. Knowledge of Informatica IDQ or Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC). Exposure to MDM or broader Data Governance frameworks. Experience working in Agile or DevOps-based environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Informatica or cloud platform certifications are an added advantage.
