Position: Informatica Administration Job Desperation: Informatica Administration, IDQ Admin, Oracle, SQL Server, Unix Shell Scripting Responsibilities Project Planning and Setup : Understand the project scope, identify activities/ tasks, schedule, dependencies, risks and gather inputs from the Module Lead, and perform a thorough review. Provide inputs to testing strategy, configuration, deployment, hardware/software requirement, etc. whenever needed. Participate in KT sessions conducted by customers/ other business teams and provide feedback on requirements. Administration : Follow naming standards and best practices to check code quality. Ability to troubleshoot priority issues and implement timely resolution. Perform RCA ( Root Cause Analysis ) on complex integration processes in Production and provide suggestions to implement permanent fixes as part of the performance improvement measures. Provide periodic status updates to the supervisor and highlight/recommend any changes in the code design process and administration processes based on the challenges faced. Perform the regular monitoring of all the Integration jobs in the Production. Regular Monitoring of the emails for any job failures, and work on creating incidents and assign the same to the appropriate teams. Create a performance matrix of the jobs and prepare reports for review with the Stakeholders. Conduct technical troubleshooting individually as well as in collaboration with other teams. Conduct a periodic review of the Administration processes and work on enhancing the processes after having them reviewed and approved by the stakeholders. Report defect status as per project standard process within agreed timelines (SLA\'s). Address queries raised by Business within defined timelines. Configuration Management : Maintain standard processes on versioning of the code in the Production environment by working closely with the Developers. Gather support as required from the Developers during configuration, code backups, deployment etc. Deployment : Assess and Review deployment/ roll back plan created by the Developers. Validate if all the components have been migrated and the right version is checked in. Share activity status with the stakeholders and highlight concerns if any. Service Support and Maintenance : Specific to production and maintenance support : Collaborate with the Developers during the X weeks (Warranty support period) and actively participate in the Production Support activities, before the complete takeover Identify if the incoming request is a service request/ defect during the warranty or an incident. If it is a code defect in the warranty, highlight the Developer Lead and initiate the defect fix process. Post warranty, support in the transition from the Development team.
