Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented

Infographic Designer

to create compelling, data-driven visual reports, especially in the political domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of political trends, statistical data interpretation, and visual storytelling to design high-impact infographics and reports for internal and public communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Design clear, engaging, and data-rich infographics, charts, and visual reports using statistical and political datasets. Work closely with political analysts, data teams, and content creators to understand data points and storytelling goals. Translate complex datasets into easily understandable visual formats for social media, presentations, websites, and print. Stay updated on political events, election trends, and public opinion polls to create timely visual content. Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and political sensitivity standards. Contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling and engagement in political communications.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Infographic Designer or in a similar graphic design role. Portfolio demonstrating strong infographic and data visualization work, preferably in politics, news, or advocacy. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or Canva. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Flourish (bonus). Strong understanding of Indian political systems, electoral data, and voter demographics. Ability to interpret raw data and translate it into visual stories. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of Tamil or other regional languages (preferred for local political content).

Nice to Have:

Background in journalism, statistics, political science, or data analytics. Experience working with media houses, political parties, or NGOs. Animation skills or experience creating short motion infographics.
