Takes a leading role in the effective functioning of the Infection Control Team

Assists the HICC in drawing up annual plans and policies for infection control. Ongoing contribution to the development and implementation of infection control policies and procedures, participation in audit, and monitoring tools related to infection control and infectious diseases. Supports Infection Prevention and Control Program as Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives under GM-Clinical Quality. To train all HCPs for Infection Control and Prevention policies. To supervise infection prevention and control procedures carried out in the hospital. To ensure availability of appropriate resources, facilities and equipments for infection prevention and control activities. To provide specialist nursing inputs in the identification, prevention, monitoring and control of HAI within the hospital. To carry out regular surveillance activities of all high-risk areas in the hospital. To identify and investigate an outbreak and data collecting for surveillance. To carry out surveillance of occupational hazard exposure. To carry out surveillance of Antibiotic use in wards and critical areas. To coordinate for isolation of an infected patient. To coordinate in provide information regarding notifiable diseases to medical record department for notifying government authorities. To supervise disinfection and sterilization procedures carried out in the hospital. To ensure all employees are vaccinated as per policy. To organize training and awareness program for all health care providers related to infection prevention and control practice.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
