Job Description

Implement Infection Control Programs

- Ensure compliance with national and international guidelines.

Surveillance

- Monitor and report healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).

Education & Training

- Train staff on infection prevention practices (e.g., hand hygiene, PPE).

Audits

- Conduct regular audits on infection control protocols.

Isolation Procedures

- Ensure proper isolation and waste management for infectious patients.

Antibiotic Stewardship

- Support appropriate antibiotic use to prevent resistance.

Outbreak Management

- Lead efforts during infection outbreaks.

Reporting

- Maintain records and report infection data to relevant committees.
