Job Title: Industrial Shops & Floor ExecutiveJob Summary

The Industrial Shops & Floor Executive is responsible for supervising daily shop-floor operations, ensuring smooth production activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, coordinating with different departments, and supporting management to achieve operational targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Production & Operations

Monitor day-to-day shop floor activities and ensure continuous workflow. Coordinate with production teams to meet daily/weekly targets. Ensure machines and equipment are operated as per standard procedures. Maintain optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machines.

2. Quality Control

Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct random quality checks to identify defects. Report quality issues and take corrective actions in coordination with the QC team.

3. Shop Floor Management

Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and organization on the shop floor. Ensure materials are properly stored and handled. Track inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables.

4. Safety & Compliance

Ensure all workers follow safety guidelines and wear PPE. Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards. Support the safety team in implementing compliance measures.

5. Staff Supervision & Coordination

Allocate tasks to workers and monitor performance. Provide basic training to new workers on machines and processes. Maintain attendance, shift schedules, and manpower planning.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily production logs, shift reports, and material movement records. Report production delays, equipment issues, or manpower shortages. Support management in preparing MIS reports and operational data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B Com/BCA/ Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in factory/shop floor management. Knowledge of production processes, industrial machinery, and safety standards. Strong communication and team coordination skills. Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP preferred).
