Position Title: Industrial Safety Manager / EHS Manager

Department: Safety / EHS

Location: India (Project / PJT Support Sites)

Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time (as per project requirement)

Role Definition

The Industrial Safety Manager will be responsible for end-to-end

Safety Management Response Services

for PJT project support in India. The role ensures full compliance with Indian statutory safety regulations, client safety standards, and global safety requirements while maintaining a safe working environment at project sites.

Scope of Work - Safety Management

1. Safety Monitoring & Inquiry

Conduct

daily safety inquiries

: Morning: 08:00 - 08:15 Night: 20:00 - 20:15 Maintain and manage

Safety Inquiry Signature Records

. Monitor daily site activities and identify potential safety hazards.

2. Safety Documentation & Reporting

Collect and manage

Safety Work Logs

from field departments. Prepare and submit

Daily Safety Work Reports

. Create and maintain

Weekly Safety Work Plans

(once per week). Maintain all statutory and client-required safety documents.

3. Training & Safety Education

Conduct

Safety Induction Training

for new employees and business travelers before work commencement. Deliver

special safety education and violation prevention training

in case of incidents or unsafe practices. Conduct

Emergency Response Training

(once per year). Maintain

Safety Education Signature Books

and training records.

4. Inspection & Audits

Conduct

Emergency Safety Inspections

(twice per month). Perform routine

Safety Patrols

and identify on-site hazards. Implement corrective and preventive actions for identified risks. Prepare and submit

Emergency Inspection Reports

5. Incident & Emergency Management

Respond promptly to

safety incidents, near misses, and customer safety issues

. Conduct

Safety Resolution Meetings

in case of accidents or major safety concerns. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans. Maintain

Safety Resolution Meeting Records

.

6. Coordination & Meetings

Attend and actively participate in

Global Safety Meetings

(once per month). Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and field teams on safety matters. Ensure alignment with global and client safety policies.

Qualification & Certification

Mandatory:

ASDI / ADIS (Advanced Senior / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) OR equivalent government-recognized safety qualification

Educational Background:

B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc / Diploma (Engineering or Science preferred)

Experience

Minimum

5-10 years

of experience in

Industrial Safety / EHS Management

Experience in

construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, logistics, or project-based environments

Strong knowledge of

Factories Act, 1948

, and applicable Indian safety laws
