: Process Engineer

Position Summary

The Process Engineer will be responsible for analysing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing/operational processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. This role includes process design work, creating layouts using AutoCAD, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and analyse existing processes to identify improvement opportunities. Design and develop new process layouts, equipment positioning, and workflow using AutoCAD. Create technical drawings, process diagrams, and design documentation. Implement process optimization strategies and support new process design projects. Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot operational issues. Maintain and update process documentation, SOPs, and engineering drawings. Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve operations. Support new product introduction, tooling design inputs, and process transitions. Perform time studies, capacity planning, and cost-reduction initiatives. Train operators and team members on new or updated processes. Track KPIs and prepare engineering reports as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field). 2-5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or industrial design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and understanding of technical drawings. Experience in process design, layout planning, or industrial engineering. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar improvement tools (preferred). Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment

Pay: ₹30,694.29 - ₹52,511.56 per month
