Job Description

Role: Industrial Engineering

Responsibility:

? Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.

? Designs efficient production processes and workflows.

? Ensure that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.

? Reduces waste and addresses production issues.

? Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.

? Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.

? Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.

? Identifies potential locations and determines facility design.

? Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.

? Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.

? Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.

? Hires, trains, and oversea production personnel.

? Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.

? Generate process documentation and reports.

? Works with technical writers to prepare client and customer proposals.

Job Skills & Qualification:

? Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards in the field or industry

? Understanding of lean manufacturing and supply-chain management

? Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Just In Time (JIT) strategizing

? Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

? Data analytics skills and experience

? Attention to detail

? Understanding of ergonomics

? Project management skills

? Strong communication and presentation skills

? Organizational, planning, and documentation skills

? Adept at using presentation software and presenting complex information to non-technical management personnel and others.

? Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously

? Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms

? Experience using System Applications and Products (ERP) software

? BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering, required

? 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment

? Master's degree in engineering a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹325,000.00 per year
